Admissions 2024/25

St Ambrose Barlow is a Catholic Voluntary Aided School. The school is designated as a school with a religious character and as such is permitted to give priority to applicants who are of the faith of the school. Please see the Admissions Arrangements Policy for further guidance.

The Governing Body has responsibility for all admissions to the school. The school operates a Co-ordinated Admissions Scheme with Salford Local Authority for the management of applications and appeal arrangements on behalf of St Ambrose Barlow.

Right of Appeal and Timetables

If you do not get a place for your child at St Ambrose Barlow RC High School you have the right of appeal against the decision. Your appeal will be heard by an independent admission appeal panel. Appeals for a place at St Ambrose Barlow RC High School are administered by Salford Local Authority Democratic Services.
